Art Gallery Signs

Performing research to help hang or frame a pedestrian-level street sign for an art gallery I found the following on Google.com. It is interesting to note that working inside a Historic District, a Certificate of Appropriateness has to be filed with our fair city of Pueblo, Colorado. Though costing nothing this might rankle a few nerves, depending upon one's politics, I guess. I can see where it would keep absolute craziness from damaging a building beyond its traditional material composition, and possibly keep weirdness from damaging neighboring business. Usually compliance with building codes would seem enough, but I think I can see the justifiable rationale for it. This is the extent of my commentary on that.
