The wrap-around porch seems to me like a permeable membrane between the inside and outside of a home. They are more often seen in rural settings. Eight years on, living outside Rye, I still find myself wishing that I had another exterior doors in just about every room. I still don't know if I should blame it on such a poorly designed interior or just wanting to bring a little more of the outdoors in, and the indoors out. I hope this first glimpse into the spiral shower I've designed into the master bath gets some notice.

Exploring a solution for replacing my workshop I simply moved the foundation out beyond the existing ramshackle one and timber frame planned a pole-barn style that might envelope the old thing and make it disappear.
