The problem with painting large paintings, or making something large outside a warehouse setting with cranes and gantries: how do you get that in/out of the studio? You make a sliding barn door, nine feet tall and eight feet wide.

I have yet to deal with the west side of the house, which used to have a fireplace and chimney. I have an idea to make a wall accessible by another set of sliding doors (from inside and out) in a sort firewood loading area so that there is always a wall of firewood inside. It is either that or some kind of giant Lazy Susan that rotates between indoors and outdoors.
