In trying to extract two-dimensional elevations of the changes that I would like to make on my house I ended up re-developing post placement and wondering if In am cantilevering this portico too much.
At least some symmetry is coming back to it.
At a lower pitch I plan to eliminate vertical support of the portico's ridge beam, instead planning on putting nine-inch timbers across the entryway span and plan to lay it right on top of those.
