Power Plant ~ Downtown Pueblo, Colorado
Out of curiosity for what could be done with the now shut down power plant in downtown Pueblo, Colorado I've applied what I've learned on my own with Google Sketchup to make a model to help developers visualize it from a model as opposed to mere photographs.
In this way it might help them along in considering physical or capital limitations generated from them knowing a little more about the structure and its dimensions.
This was generated from a combination of Google Earth aerial photograph and the average parking space dimensions for scaling. I did not attempt to start on the groups of multi-paned windows that are basically five over fives. They seem about one foot wide by one-foot-nine-inches. There are also brick buttresses which seem about four foot wide with a depth that I still do not know. As I get more accurate survey of the building many of these mysteries will be resolved.
